**My Thoughts**
Okay... So, I have been sitting on this for quite some time now. Guess I should write out my thoughts on it since the next Star Wars episode will be coming...soon. Well, what can I say... It's freakin' Star Wars! π This installment had all the elements that gets all the fans excited. Yes, it has all the action, adventure, sci-fi effects, and drama that fans have loved and enjoyed for years. Well, as for me, I enjoyed the movie. Again, the nostalgia for the Star Wars universe came rolling in with every scene. The story flowed to its exciting climax and cliffhanger. Well, that is a given. There's always a cliffhanger giving fans that little bit of excitement that there is more to come... π
In the vast Star Wars universe, the settings were significant in relation to the storyline and the various characters. The effects are amazing, all the while staying true to the original three films. Of course, the connections made with all the previous episodes tied its story to this new story on this next generation.
I wasn't disappointed at what I expected when I watched this. I'm not a die-hard fan, but I can say that I am somewhat a fan of the genre. I'm not too critical on every little detail, and I won't be. As long as I enjoyed the movie, followed the story, understood the character development, then it is all good. I come out absorbing what I watched. π Otherwise, this seventh episode in the Star Wars series is a film that is an enjoyable, exciting, and adventurous movie to watch for anyone and everyone, of all ages, who are fans of this genre. Overall, Star Wars: The Force Awakens also awakened a nostalgic feel for this universe. I'm pretty sure that a new generation of die hard fans has been born from this...haha!! π
My rating:
Until the next Star Wars episode!!! Watch the teaser trailer now!
