New Adult bestselling author Monica Murphy winds up her sensational series with this sexy story of two college kids with nothing in common but a bunch of baggage and a burning attraction.

Genre:
New Adult Contemporary Romance
Series:
One Week Girlfriend Quartet
Publish Date:
March 4, 2014
Publisher:
Bantam

Synopsis:
Over. That about sums up everything in my life. Suspended from my college football team and forced to cut back my hours at The District bar because of my crappy grades, I can’t keep turning to my sister, Fable, and her pro-football playing husband, Drew, to bail me out. I just can’t seem to find my own way. Weed and sex are irresistible temptations—and it’s messed up that I secretly hand over money to our junkie mom. A tutor is the last thing I want right now—until I get a look at her.

Chelsea is not my type at all. She’s smart and totally shy. I’m pretty sure she’s even a virgin. But when she gives me the once over with those piercing blue eyes, I’m really over. But in a different way. I won’t deny her ass is killer, but it’s her brain and the way she seems to crave love—like no one’s ever given her any—that make me want her more than any girl I’ve ever met. But what would someone as seemingly together as her ever see in a screwed up guy like me?

Ten Things You Should Know About Owen…by Chelsea

Owen Maguire is my boyfriend (I still get a serious thrill every time I say that, even think it). I’m pretty lucky right? Well, he’s not perfect. But then again, neither am I. But the good certainly outweighs the bad when it comes to Owen.

I’m going to reveal a few things about my boyfriend. Some you might already know, some you definitely won’t know. He’ll probably hate that I’m doing this but oh well. Here we go!

  1. He has the foulest mouth I’ve ever heard. Most of the time I think he says those things just to freak me out, embarrass me, whatever. Sometimes though…he puts those dirty words to good use. If you know what I mean. *blushes*

  1. He’s super smart, he just doesn’t apply himself all the time. That drives the overachiever in me crazy.

  1. Deep down inside, he’s a total romantic. Like swoon-worthy, make my heart swell romantic.

  1. Most of the time he’s very laid back. But push all his buttons and he turns into this fierce warrior ready to defend those he cares about.

  1. His protective side is pretty hot.

  1. His slob-like ways though? Not so hot.

  1. He’s completely enamored with his niece Autumn. Like, madly in love with her and she returns the feeling tenfold. This makes me think he’d be a terrific father someday. (and if he knew I even thought this, he’d probably freak out)

  1. Owen has the softest lips...and he’s a really good kisser.

  1. When we’re together, we laugh a lot. He cracks me up. Even when he curses.

  1. He’s a snuggler in bed. Like, grab me and hold me close like a teddy bear while he sleeps snuggler. It sort of drives me nuts and sometimes I find it hard to breathe but…I wouldn’t have it any other way.

*Excerpt*
Placing my hands on his shoulders, I gently push him down and straddle his thighs. I love the way he kisses me, always with a slow and burning desire, never rushed. Each time is like he’s making love to my mouth telling me a story of his love and gratitude. Taking his ear in my mouth I exhale a soft moan and shower feather soft kisses down his neck, making him shiver. Licking down the center of his chest over his rock hard abs, I take him into my mouth, he inhales sharply as I swirl the tip with my tongue. I take him all the way in my mouth until he hits the back of my throat and he whispers my name. Loving the soft silky skin, I bob my head up and down his length slowly. He pulls me up and switches positions. Laying underneath him he slowly enters me, filling me completely. I reach my hands around his back and dig my nails into his skin and slide them down ever so slowly. He moans loudly, “Do that again.”

**About the Author**
Annalisa Nicole
I am an “Indie” adult contemporary romance author. I am a wife and a stay at home mom. I have been married to my wonderful husband since 1996. I love being a stay at home mom to our two teenage boys. We have a handful of pets, a dog named Lucy (who is in my books), a guinea pig named Flufy, (my son spells her name that way) and a cat named meow-meow, who adopted us many years ago and has never left.

I never liked reading as a kid and I only started reading romance novels in the past few years. Soon I couldn't get enough of them. My Kindle and I are inseparable now. A thought occurred to me in December of 2012 that maybe I could write a romance novel. So I went to work with the encouragement of my husband and my sister-in-law. It didn’t take long to figure out that I really enjoyed writing.

I entered my book in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest in January of 2013. Needless to say my three hundred word pitch didn’t even make it through the first round. My book never even got read. So now what do you do with a 50,000+ word book? With more encouragement by my wonderful family I decided to self- publish it. So here I am today a self- published author. It has been a lot of hard work but I wouldn’t change a single thing.

It has not been an easy road and there has been a lot of self- doubt, but I stuck with it and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve been blessed to have been put in contact with some amazing people that have supported and encouraged me every step of the way.

Jessica Brody's UNFORGOTTEN Launch Party Fan Fun + Giveaway!

Finally, after a couple of hectic days, I can finally sit down and write up my post on this amazing and fun event with Jessica Brody! Whew!

The start of this week started with a "bang," specifically the launch party for Jessica Brody's second book in the Unremembered trilogy. My daughter, Mariah, and I was definitely excited to be able to hang out with Jessica Brody and friends. So, yah, we were in booknerd heaven to be at the Unforgotten Launch Party, hosted by Mysterious Galaxy in Redondo Beach, CA. Of course, in addition to Jessica Brody's author friends and other fans, Mariah and I partied with several familiar fangirl faces. In addition to all the fun and laughter at the launch party, we were able to get Unforgotten a day before its release! Woo hoo! Could it get any more awesome!!!

We have visited this particular bookstore on several occasions to attend events for our favorite authors. Monday, February 24, was definitely a night we did not want to miss. So, of course, since my TBR list just keeps getting longer, many books on my list gets shifted about. I made an exception for this event. I read the first book, Unremembered, less than two days! I was completely engrossed into the story of Sera's struggle to get her memories back. I loved the book! Check out my review on Unremembered, here! It definitely was a good read! Now, I am looking forward to reading Unforgotten.

It was great to meet up with Jessica Brody, again. She's such an amazing author and speaker. She had everyone laughing as she told her story of being a writer. Just check out the video clips to see how much fun everyone had as Jessica talked about Unforgotten and answered some audience questions. After the fun and amazing talk with Jessica Brody, we were also ecstatic to find Gretchen McNeil and Jennifer Bosworth in attendance to celebrate and to support Jessica on her latest book release! How awesome was that! And, we finally got to meet Jennifer Bosworth...YAY!
Mariah with Jennifer Bosworth
Jasmine with Jennifer Bosworth
Gretchen McNeil, Jessica Brody & friend Nadine!

After the fun and hilarious talk and Q&A, the signing commenced. Jessica was amazingly gracious as she made the time to chat with everyone. As can be viewed in these video clips, everyone had a great time! We even had cupcakes...yummy!

As the party started to wind down, Mariah and I had to say our good-byes to everyone since we still had a long drive home to look forward to. Nevertheless, we still came home with...yup, swag! Without further ado, let's have a giveaway to celebrate the release of Unforgotten, Jessica Brody's second novel in the Unremembered trilogy.
