***My Thoughts***

Note: This review contains no spoilers

The intensity of this series does not let up! In this second book of The Vortex trilogy, Trent and Cassie are reunited in this new timeline that Trent created when he changed the past. Sheesh....time travel can be so quirky! By the end of Rematch, Cassie remember her other life before Trent went back and changed the past. Whoa! How crazy was that! But, in this altered timeline, these two are far from living "normal" lives. Guess changing the past...again...has its consequences, as Trent and Cassie comes to find out. They face several obstacles and dangers as they try to "rebuild" their relationship in this alternate timeline.

I gasped after each chapter wondering if and how these characters will overcome these obstacles that lie before them. I was intrigued with Cassie's predicament of having knowledge of both timelines...confusing, I know! Of course, Cassie can see the differences...how can she not! Whoa! On top of the dangers they face, Trent and Cassie also has to face their lives as teenagers. I turned each page with bated breath! Whoa! Janine Caldwell has again created this supernatural world where time travel has its consequences and rewards when tampering with the past.

Double Fault is a suspenseful and thrilling ride through time that kept my head spinning!

Now onto the next book in the trilogy, Deuce!
