**About the Author**

R.S. Broadhead lives in Jackson, Alabama with her husband of ten years, their two little girls, and a pug named Wednesday Love the Duchess, or Winnie for short. She has a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in business administration. She loves to snowboard, travel (Australia is her favorite place so far), and dance (not professionally, just whenever she feels like it). When she was sixteen-years-old, her and her friends would take pictures and make up funny stories about them. Fourteen years later, Unveiled was born. Unveiled, her first novel, is the first book in a four book series.

What an incredible and creepy read!!! Yup! Just in time for Halloween...ha! This is my first time reading anything from this author, and I am impressed and intrigued. She was able to grab my interest with the synopsis. And, with each turn of the page, I was glued to the "edge of my seat" with the eerie feeling her words brought about.

The story was well written to evoke the specific feeling of fear and panic. Of course those are just a couple mentioned with it comes to anything horror. And... I loved it! I definitely got the chills and/or shivers as I went along with Piper on this story of hers. It definitely got her mind, and mine, wondering if she was losing it...haha!!! But, skillful descriptive writing and well-rounded characters played a strong role on the imagination...in bringing her story to life.

Chosen has an even, fast-pace that left no room to breathe... This is definitely a scary story that gave me the "heebie jeebies" from start to finish. But, there was no time for any relief since we are left with a cliffhanger.... Seriously!?! Ugh! Well, on the other hand, I will be looking forward to the next installment in this Urban Legends series! Yup! My heart is still racing... just thinking about this incredibly scary read.
