JASMINE's THOUGHTS on Constantine Season 1 Episode 10 "Quid Pro Quo"

About the Show
Based on the wildly popular comic book series Hellblazer from DC Comics, seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine (Matt Ryan, "Criminal Minds") is armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and a wickedly naughty wit. He fights the good fight - or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he's decided to abandon his campaign against evil until a series of events thrusts him back into the fray, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect the innocent. With the balance of good and evil on the line‎, Constantine will use his skills to travel the country, find the supernatural terrors that threaten our world and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows... maybe there's hope for him and his soul after all.
The cast also includes Harold Perrineau (Lost) as Manny and Charles Halford (True Detective) as Chas.Writer Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist, Dexter) serves as executive producer with David S. Goyer (Man of SteelThe Dark Knight Rises). *My Thoughts*

What is a parent to do!?! Well, this episode is all about Chas. Yay! More character development. We got a little bit of Zed's past in the previous episode, this episode focuses on Chas...of course, it wouldn't be a Constantine episode without some supernatural event/conflict happening..would it!?!

With this rising darkness now identified, it seems that there is a lot more supernatural events happening...as we find out in this episode with the introduction of Felix Faust. Faust apparently is an old nemesis of John Constantine....he sure knows how to make rivals or archenemies. Getting to know John Constantine, I'm sure we will meet more of John's nemeses as we follow his adventures/cases in each episode.

I am thrilled that this episode wasn't all about John Constantine. This time, he took a backseat to solving this case...be it he did figure out who was behind it. But....really, don't mess with a father's child. With the flashbacks, we got a glimpse of who Chas is.

This season is turning out to be a new series with a lot of secrets while these characters continue to fight the ever continuing battle against evil/darkness. Filled with many elements of the supernatural...even horror, and the realism of personal human struggles, Constantine is turning out to be an exciting and intense drama that is worth watching every Friday night. I am definitely looking forward to the next episode...what's next in the battle between the light and the darkness.
