I love listening to podcasts and audiobooks. It adds to my trivia knowledge…my heroine, Penny’s love of trivia is 100% based on me.
I have a golden retriever and a pittie that I claim are my co-authors. However, neither have ever really helped with editing. In fact, they seem to actively avoid it!
I have a terrible habit of naming my side characters after friends. I don’t even realize I am doing it. It’s now become a game with my friends every time a new book comes out!
I am fascinated by ancient aliens…I fall asleep to it every night. I don’t actually believe the theories, but it’s like a train wreck I cannot look away from. I even managed to slide the show into my medical romance that comes out in November, The Prince’s One-Night Baby.
I have two beautiful daughters who patiently (occasionally) let me write my stories. ;)
My oldest daughter is starting to raid my bookshelf. It’s how I got started on reading romance, my mother diligently looked the other way as I stole her books…and I am looking the other way now too. Life circles back around.
One of the best things of becoming a published romance author is watching my dad, a hardcore science fiction reader, find a place of honor for my books on his shelf. They are front and center and he tells EVERYONE that his daughter writes. A Nurse to Claim his Heart is dedicated to Dad.
I have multiple tattoos. All are writing themed, and I am actively trying to pick my next one.
I like to joke that my bad books (the ones that will never see the light of day) live under my bed. It’s a phrase that I use so regularly, that I had another author friend ask if I actually kept drafts there. I don’t…but maybe I should.
I love coffee mugs…too much according to my husband. I find it a collection; he calls it a problem. We have instituted a rule that if I get a new one, one must leave, so now I buy them for decoration for my day job desk. Can’t get mad if you can’t see them. (Also, he got me a mug for Christmas…so really he is just helping me out.)

Thanks for hosting today, Jasmine!
