*Other than suspense, what other genre would you be interested in writing?*


Your question made me think. Good storytelling, no matter what the genre, has suspense. Suspense is an uneasy feeling that a reader gets when they don't know what will happen next. In the Notebook, we wonder what else can go wrong. Will they ever get together? And we turn the page because we need to know. 

But I don't see the genre of romance in my near future. Paranormal romance, or romantic suspense, yes. I used to read sci-fi in high school. Recently, an idea for a sci-fi story has inhabited my brain. Maybe a class trip to Mars that turns into a who done it?
