*My Thoughts*

Well, Army of the Dead is entertaining. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This new take on a zombie movie was fun to watch, filled with clichés, and lots of comedy/humor. I definitely had a good laugh throughout. It was an interesting concept/twist with the zombies.

With the brief intro and flashbacks of what started the zombie outbreak, it somewhat gives a bit of a description/background of the characters involved in the plot of this movie. It seemed like it was just "skimming off the top" when developing the characters and the story. But, by the end, it felt like that it had potential to establish a new zombie franchise. But, of course, the zombie action was so cool! Yes, it was! I really liked the concept that there are evolved zombies?!?!? Whoa! That alone is a concept that has potential... Ha! Well, I think it does.

Anyways, Army of the Dead is an entertaining zombie movie. Not a lot of horror, but definitely a zombie movie with flair, especially considering it takes place in the flashy location of Las Vegas. With just a little bit of comedy, drama, action, and lots of zombie, Zack Snyder created a whole different zombie world that has potential to expand. I would watch it again... Ha!
