Check out this Riddick Red Band trailer which was released for Comic Con 2013!

Oh yeah! This Red Band trailer of Riddick was released during the Riddick panel at the San Diego Comic Con 2013! 

The full length official Red Band trailer for Riddick has been released to tie in the Comic-Con panel for Vin Diesel's upcoming sci-fi action movie. The trailer reveals new R rated content reminding audiences just how dangerous Riddick really is!  

It covers the same scene featuring the ever-cocky Riddick and the rather naive bounty hunters but with extra explicit content that will no doubt appeal to Riddick's hardcore fans.

Vin Diesel and David Twohy didn't want to reveal too much during the film's panel but you can get some excerpts from the discussion.

Excerpts from the Riddick panel at SDCC 2013:

Vin Diesel: "When the audience asked for this movie to be Rated-R, it actually helped us get the movie made, because we didn't have to spend $200 million to make the movie. The film maintains the style and tempo of Pitch Black, while still servicing the mythology. You will end up in the Underverse."

Discussing the influence of Dungeons and Dragons on his career: "Dungeons & Dragons was a training ground for my imagination in so many ways. I have friends in Hollywood that tease me, saying I'm attempting to 'DM' Hollywood. We would act out these characters that we were playing. It didn't take more than a couple of hours before you really believed that you were this witch hunter and the dice that you were rolling was really your weapon."

David Twohy: "Once we realized we were not going to be a studio picture and we were going to be an independent movie, it became daunting and exciting. Production meetings were in Vin's kitchen. He'd roam around, trying not to smoke his American Spirits." 

Katee Sackhoff: "Science fiction fans are the most loyal fans in the world. They'll watch things that [we] actually should give them their money back for and love it and create drinking games for it."

My Thoughts

Whoa!! Talk about Red Band trailer!!! Gotta love Vin Diesel for reprising his role as Riddick. I don't think I can see anyone else play the part...haha!! I definitely enjoyed the first two films, Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick. I am, after all, a sci-fi nerd...haha!  

I am definitely looking forward to seeing this soon.

RIDDICK starring Vin Diesel - Trailer

Riddick, the latest chapter of the groundbreaking saga that began with 2000's hit sci-fi film Pitch Black and 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick reunites writer/director David Twohy (A Perfect Getaway, The Fugitive) and star Vin Diesel (the Fast and Furious franchise, xXx). Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy.  

The infamous Riddick (Diesel) has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beaon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.

Whoa! Oh yeah! Being a sci-fi fan, I am totally excited for the release of the latest film on Riddick!!! Loved the earlier films, Pitch Black (the film that started it all) and The Chronicles of Riddick (even with its mixed reviews).

Fast & Furious 6: My Thoughts

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of all-stars as the global blockbuster franchise built on speed races to its next continent in Fast & Furious 6. Reuniting for their most high-stakes adventure yet, fan favorites Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and Elsa Pataky are joined by badass series newcomers Luke Evans and Gina Carano.

Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian's (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin's empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.

My thoughts:
Yup!!! Watched Fast & Furious 6 last night!!! And, I don't know, what can I say, except that it was..A (wait for it!)...MAZING!!! Yes, the stunt scenes and fast cars were incredibly amazing! "Dayum!" Pretty much came to my mind as I sat in the theater watching this sixth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. And, don't forget, the fast carss!!! Yes, the trademark of this franchise are the fast cars, and this film does not disappoint with the awesome cars. I was very happy that it explained how "Letty" (Michelle Rodriguez) could still be alive since last we "saw," she was killed. It was like watching the end of Fast Five connecting to Fast & Furious 6. Overall, I loved how the film connected all the other Fast & Furious films and came round full circle...from the beginning...back home at "1327."

I absolutely loved it! It was an adrenalin pumping, action-filled, storytelling movie that definitely put all the senses on overdrive. But, that's just me...haha! I loved the story/plot, the action, the fast pace...yes, the fast cars, the fight scenes...and, can't forget, the incredibly amazing stunts...like WHOA!! Really!!??!! Not to forget the end where it took us to Tokyo...leaving fans for a seventh installment...with Jason Statham!?! Like REALLY!!??!! Dayum!!! I will definitely watching this upcoming seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.

I'd say go watch it! It looks amazing on the big screen...again, that's just me. :)
