Synopsis:

*Given the opportunity to collaborate writing a book (and/or series) with another author, who would you like to work with?*

If I had the opportunity to collaborate writing a book or series with another author, I would love to work with my favorite author of all time, Nora Roberts. 

I’ve been reading her books for years (since I was a teenager!) and I never get tired of her writing style, characters, or plots. She can take anything and spin it in a way that is so interesting you don’t want it to end! As I read the last page of any of her novels, I am saddened that another of her stories has come to an end—on the page, at least. Her characters tend to stay with me long after I’ve finished the book. 

Nora has this magical ability to make her readers feel a connection, or more accurately, a bond, with her characters in a way that other authors simply can’t match. For that reason alone, I would love to sit down and collaborate to write alongside this wizard of words. Her love stories make you yearn for more, and she adds a touch of the mystical which always captures my interest and sense of awe, adding an element of surprise to every story. 

I wonder how she would tweak my characters, or tips and advice she could give me. If I spoke to her, I know I would hang on her every word, committing it all to memory to use in my future writings. 

Another author I would love to collaborate with, and learn from, is Dean Koontz. His early works especially really helped shape who I am as an author, and I would be honored to learn from this master as well. His novel Watchers spoke to me on so many levels. 

Put me in a room with both Nora Roberts, Dean Koontz, and my laptop, and I can only imagine the award-winning, literary work of art we would create!
