Wow! What a story filled with magic, drama, romance, and action! I was completely whisked away to a world filled with mystery and mysticism. Cameo's world building and character development had me mesmerized, and had my imagination going, from beginning to end. As for pacing, I thought that the steady pace of the story was in perfect sync with Elara's adventurous and developing journey on finding the truth of her life and home world.
Only one problem.... This first book in the Star Kissed series ends with a cliffhanger... Ha! Yes! A CLIFFHANGER... ! Why!?! Just when the intensity of drama and action was getting so dang good! It definitely got my heart racing and kept me at the edge of my seat! 😮
Those Savage Stars is an absolutely riveting page-turner into a dark fantasy that had me from the beginning. I look forward to the next book to find out what happens next for these enthralling characters from that enchanting world.
