Synopsis:
Welcome back to Evergreen,
the town built on Christmas wishes…
And learn what happens
after one snow-globe wish comes true.

Life is going great for Hannah, really. She’s fallen in love with her best friend, her brother is getting married, and she’s looking forward to another festive Christmas in Evergreen.  Still, between her job, taking charge of the choir, and being the town’s jill-of-all-trades, she’s feeling uninspired…especially when Elliot starts to question his own role in the town.

Hannah finds fresh inspiration in the brand-new Evergreen Christmas Museum, and she volunteers for their storytelling project. When she interviews her fellow Evergreenians, however, she learns that not everyone wants the museum around; specifically Mr. Cooper who owns a third of the building. As Hannah finds herself with more and more responsibilities, and as her relationships with Elliot and her family grow strained, she starts to wonder about what she really wants. Can her love and newly-found purpose survive the changes that loom after the holidays are over?

*What is your favorite holiday? Why?*

I love this question because it gives me the chance to talk about something I truly love—Christmas! There are so many things I love about this time of year because I tend to celebrate the entire season. One of my favorite traditions is going to church on Christmas Eve with my family. I’ve been doing this since I was a little girl and there’s just something about that evening of holy celebration that carries me throughout the next year. The spiritual connection on this most holy night is always calming amidst the backdrop of the troubles of the world.

Of course, I love the Christmas carols (I listen to them all year long, lol) and the overall festive nature of the holiday. Baking cookies is also something I enjoy doing at this time of year. I used to do this with my children and now, while my daughters will help here and there, I’m beginning to get my two grandchildren in on the tradition. Gift wrapping might be my least favorite thing to do at this time of year, lol. I’m fine with doing the shopping and picking out just the right gift-wrapping paper for each one, but I usually let my husband and daughter take over that task. We also have a big Christmas dinner for all our family (well, we haven’t the last two years due to COVID). I enjoy cooking all our holiday favorites and having everyone around celebrating together. It’s this part of the holiday that I feel brings us all together to remember the good and bad times of the previous year and begin to look forward to making more memories in the next year.

Then, there’re the Christmas movies (which I also watch all year long), watching the classics is my favorite—Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, It’s A Wonderful Life, are just a few of my favorites. And like so many others, I’m a huge fan of the holiday romcoms that now come on Hallmark, Lifetime, UpTV, OWN, Netflix and other channels during this season. It’s just so easy to slip into the merry time. While the feeling of love, joy and regeneration should be experienced throughout the year, I especially home in on those emotions during the Christmas season.
