Episode Synopsis:
When a therapist is murdered, Lucifer and Chloe enlist the help of Dr. Linda to look into possible suspects.
~~~~~
*My Thoughts*
Lucifer is on the case with Chloe...this time a therapist is murdered. This case, in turn, enlists the help from Lucifer's therapist, Dr. Linda! Of course, with Lucifer, he's hoping to use Dr. Linda's helps to his advantage, especially since Lucifer is working on understanding human emotions...now that he has become vulnerable to it. Well, plus, Lucifer is very fascinated with Chloe, and he wants to know why.
This episode seems to explore a very human behavior, jealousy, that Lucifer thinks he is feeling about Chloe. Hmmm...he is feeling something. And that is something that is in conflict of who he is. Seems that he has embraced therapy in an odd way...haha! Funny how Lucifer tries to deflect his therapy session to be about other people, not him...haha! And, of course, Dr. Linda has to get Lucifer to focus on his he issues...hmmm! He is such the devil...lol! Dr. Linda also tends to reveal a lot about Lucifer's own internal conflicts in which he seems to deny.
On the other subplot, there seems to be a twist with this Palmetto case that Chloe is still investigating. Plus, Chloe and Dan seems to be spending a lot of time together. Is there a possible reconciliation between the two? However, there is a secret Dan is keeping...and someone knows. This whole "dirty cop" plot just keeps getting more intriguing. How will it play out since Dan is trying to make it work with Chloe. Or is it a ploy to get her to stop investigating that Palmetto case. Hmmm...However, Chloe is definitely not deterred from continuing this investigation. Then the "suicide" of a copy!?! Hmmm... Chloe is just going to "dig her nails in" even more so now.
Again, another episode in which Lucifer explores human emotions, in turn, he tries to figure out what he is feeling...or not feeling. Plus, another secret was revealed in regards to Amenadiel and Maze. Well, the Devil definitely came out when it came to betrayal...That hasn't changed. Hmmm...What is Maze to do...now that Lucifer found out! How about Amenadiel!?! Lucifer is having waaay too much fun in Los Angeles. Going back to Hell doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon.
Until the next episode!
For now, here's a preview of Episode 9 - "Out of Options"
