About the Show
Supergirl is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El, Superman's (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities, and be the hero she was always meant to be.
Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents' help at the same time as the infant Kal-El. Protected and raised on Earth by her foster family, the Danvers, Kara grew up in the shadow of her foster sister, Alex, and learned to conceal the phenomenal powers she shares with her famous cousin in order to keep her identity a secret.
Years later at 24, Kara lives in National City assisting media mogul and fierce taskmaster Cat Grant. She works alongside her friend and IT technician Winn Schott and famous photgrapher James Olsen, who Grant just hired away from the Daily Planet to serve as her new art director. However, Kara's days of keeping her talents a secret are over when Hank Henshaw, head of a super-secret ageny where her sister also works, enlists her to help them protect the citizens of National City from sinister threats. Though Kara will need to find a way to manage her newfound empowerment with her very human relationships, her heart soars as she takes to the skies as Supergirl to fight crime.

*My Thoughts*
This was a fun episode! A crossover with The Flash!
Despite all the good Supergirl does, the citizens of National City are still wary to trust in her since she went dark. Not everyone is quick to forgive, but friends...even another superhero, gave her helpful advice. However, there are others that holds grudge(s). Yup, all the bad she did is still a fresh wound for all of National City. Given time and chance...even in extreme circumstances/situations, the citizens will see how much Supergirl will sacrifice herself to help/save them.
Siobhan anger and resentment increases towards Kara/Supergirl...even Cat Grant. The DEO tries to help her, but has no answers for her. Even Winn tries to help her. She doesn't understand what is happening to her, she keeps "hearing" something...until she visits her aunt. Her aunt explains to her their family history. Siobhan soon realizes what she can do, then seeks out someone to help her get her revenge on Kara/Supergirl. Not surprising that Livewire is her choice...since she has deep resentment towards Cat Grant. Anger like that can be very destructive...as we can see with these two, which leads to Cat's kidnapping.
Kara struggles with her feelings towards James since the effects of the red kryptonite created a dark and uninhibited Kara. I find that Cat and Kara's relationship has evolved. Despite her cold and indifferent behavior, Cat does show how much she cares for Kara via her advice she gives to Kara. Awww...that's so sweet! In a way, albeit subtle, Cat takes on that mother figure for Kara...even to Supergirl.
Anyways...back to the two superheros! The Flash breaks through a dimensional barrier into Supergirl's world. Multiverse...?!? Whoa! What a thought! Well, that's the spin on this episode. As The Flash breaks into their world, he catches Kara as she falls. Supergirl is all too excited with his arrival. She has someone to relate to...superhero-wise! Plus, she's got superhero help to face to supervillains. But, uh oh, someone looks jealous...haha!
Again, this was a learning situation for Kara/Supergirl. While Supergirl deals with a city-wide situation with two supervillains, Non activates Astra's plan for Earth....Myriad! In the end, we get a preview of what Myriad does to the citizens of National City! Of course, all that happens after she confesses her feelings for James! Can we get anymore cliffhanger-ish...haha! Well, we have to wait for the next exciting episode to find out!
Until the next exciting episode!
