*My Thoughts*

I know this is coming late, but it's been a busy start of the new year! But, now that I'm caught up with this amazing show, let's get started.

Returning  from a midseason break, we return to where the last episode left off... Constantine allowing himself to get possessed by a demon, after getting shot by Anne Marie. John Constantine has some great friends...eh. Anyways, Constantine casts a demon into himself to save himself from an Ivunche and from dying, it wasn't just any demon, but a demon king! Manny's timing to come...well, it's not so great...you think!?! Oh, and of course, the rising darkness has been revealed, so now, the battle begins...to fight this darkness. But, first, Constantine needs to be saved as well.

Talk about possession. Like a good horror movie, Constantine's possession had all the scary elements of being possessed by an intense evil. However, intertwine Constantine's sarcasm and wit, this episode was certainly compelling, dramatic, and humorous. Even with this fight against evil and time, there's that underlying fight with guilt and faith...not with just John, but Anne Marie as well.

Yay! Chas and Zed definitely had a strong presence in this episode...hopefully, it keeps going. I really loved all the interaction among the characters. We even got more details about Zed's past...it's a good start in unraveling Zed's past. We're definitely getting a better idea of why Zed is running from her past.

All together, this episode was an intense and dramatic return from its midseason break. With its incredible effects making the supernatural events pretty realistic, including the exorcism. Matt Ryan definitely brings the character John Constantine to life....and I am definitely looking forward to more episodes.
