Eden Butler is an editor and writer of New Adult Romance and SciFi and Fantasy novels and the nine-times great-granddaughter of an honest-to-God English pirate. This could explain her affinity for rule breaking and rum. Her debut novel, a New Adult, Contemporary (no cliffie) Romance, Chasing Serenity launched in October 2013 and quickly became an Amazon bestseller.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Chasing Serenity. I loved the characters. We all have pasts, pain, heartache and secrets, and that's apparently so with the these characters. It's true secrets and lies can be devastating. But, it takes a lot as well get past the hurt and give yourself a second chance, and that's what is centered around our two main characters...Autumn and Declan. Set in the backdrop in a small university town, the story of second chances unravels for Autumn, Declan and a few others. Eden Butler added a flair of dramatics with a touch of competitive sportsmanship which brought this story to life. I loved Autumn's spirit and tenacity to overcome, but yet, she still is vulnerable due to her pain of loss.
Although the beginning was a bit sluggish, their story picked up as Autumn and Declan's attraction grew, and more secrets were revealed. Despite the slow beginning, there was enough to keep me turning the pages. I wanted to get to know Autumn, Declan and everyone else. I was intrigued at how much a sport can bring people together despite their differences. I was drawn in to Autumn's fear and dread of loving someone again. With that being said, I loved Autumn and Declan's story.
Chasing Serenity is a touching story of pain and loss with a glimmer of hope for a new beginning.
