Check out the final official trailer of Ender's Game!
If he succeeds, he will be remembered as a hero.
Synopsis
In the near future, a hostile alien race called the Formics have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young minds to find the future Mazer. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy but strategically brilliant boy, is recruited to join the elite. Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult challenges and simulations, distinguishing himself and winning respect among his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military's next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he's trained by Mazer Rackham himself to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.
Based on the sci fi novel of the same name written by Orson Scott Card
Here's the final theatrical poster that Summit/Lionsgate recently released:
In theaters November 1, 2013
The trailer looks amazing. The film has a great cast. It's based on a worldwide bestseller. What more is there to say!?! For those who have read the book, let's hope the film adaptation is just as good. But, I can't compare since I haven't read the book. I'm a huge fan of the sci-fi genre, so, regardless, I definitely want to check this out!
Although there has been controversy regarding the book's author, in which Summit/Lionsgate has actively separating themselves from it, I would still see the movie...because of the cast. Hahaha!!! Yes, I'm a fan of Harrison Ford since the Indiana Jones films and, of course, the Star Wars films. Yup, he's an awesome actor. In addition to Harrison Ford, the cast stars Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin, Hailee Steinfeld, Nonso Anozie and Asa Butterfield...definitely a star-studded cast.
What say you awesome nerds! Sound off below...
